About the role
The role is for a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Telemetry Registered Nurse position in Denver, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Provides care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care.
- Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.
- Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Requirements
- Two to 5 years experience is required.
- Must have ACLS & BLS certifications, these must be attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association).
- Must have vent/trach experience, knowledge of central lines & preferred wound care experience.
- Must have CO or multi-state compact RN license, must be attached to resume.
