ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Acute Care for a travel nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), with every other weekend required
• 36 hours per week

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our High Intensity Care Unit (HICU). This unit provides specialized care for patients with acute brain injuries, those needing respiratory assistance, and patients requiring rehabilitation services. The HICU is staffed 24/7 and features a team approach to delivering comprehensive patient care for chronic diseases and complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients with complex medical conditions
• Provide respiratory care and advanced medical treatments
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including respiratory therapy and social services
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies
• Conduct assessments and implement rehabilitation programs for acute care transitions

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Must have a valid RN license for Maryland or a compact license at the time of submission
• Experience with electronic charting systems, preferred Cerner experience
