Travel LTAC ICU Registered Nurse - $2,086 per week
About the role
We are seeking a qualified High Intensity Care Unit (HICU) Nurse to provide care to patients requiring respiratory assistance, rehabilitation services, and monitoring for complex medical conditions. The HICU is equipped to handle patients with acute brain injuries and serious cardiac conditions in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage patient care for individuals with acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Administer medications, including antiarrhythmics and anticoagulation therapies.
- Provide treatment and rehabilitation services under multidisciplinary care protocols.
- Utilize advanced charting systems, specifically Cerner, for patient documentation.
- Oversee patient care involving complex procedures such as central line management and ventilator support.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy and respiratory services.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a critical care or high-intensity unit.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- A valid Maryland or Compact RN license is required at the time of submission.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
