About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week contract position on the night shift. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, including working with patients with dementia, and will be responsible for supporting overall nursing functions within the rehab and nursing environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, particularly those with dementia.
- Administer medications and follow care plans as per facility protocols.
- Support and assist in daily patient activities and rehabilitation needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist with floating to other units as required.
Schedule
This position requires a flexible schedule, including every other weekend, to meet patient care needs. Nights will be the primary shift worked.
Requirements
- Active RN License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care (LTC).
- Prior travel nursing experience is required.
- Comfort and experience working with dementia patients is essential.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and relevant screenings.
