Requirements

• Active RN License or Active LPN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in a Long-Term care setting

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide extended care to patients living with disabilities or suffering from progressive or chronic illnesses
• Work with the elderly and others who need assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing and dressing
• Administer medication
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members
