Travel Long Term Care RN - $2,209 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a psychiatric unit for 12-hour night shifts in Norristown, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential rehab settings and a solid background in mental health and addiction recovery. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct admissions (no admissions overnight)
• Administer medications through a med pass system (patients come to the desk)
• Perform patient assessments and lead medication education groups
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers
• Ensure patient compliance with facility rules and manage noncompliant situations

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar psychiatric or residential rehab setting
• IV experience required for some units
• Comfortable administering Suboxone and Methadone in detox settings

Schedule

• 13-week contract position
• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Three out of six major holidays required
