About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Long-Term Care nurse for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide extended care to patients living with disabilities or suffering from progressive or chronic illnesses, often working with the elderly and others who need assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing and dressing.
• Record vital signs and administer medications.
• Complete assignments made by physicians and provide routine treatment.
• Assess changes in the patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication and ensure meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians, and other treatment team members.
• Be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions due to the broad range of medical conditions encountered in long-term care.

Requirements

• Active RN License or Active LPN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in a Long-Term Care setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client’s facility.
