Travel Long Term Care Registered Nurse - $2,045 per week

About the role

Long Term Care (LTC) Nurse in a 26‑bed facility. The position involves acting as charge nurse, passing medications, and performing wound care for patients with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia. Day shifts, 12‑hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Act as charge nurse
• Pass medications
• Perform wound care
• Work in a 26‑bed LTC setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (physical therapy, social workers, case managers, dieticians)
• No IVs or titratable drips, no tele monitors, no requirement to attend acute inpatient rehab team conferences
• Unit notes: no on‑site respiratory therapy, medication system off‑site, no supervision from a DON or charge nurse
• Orientation: 2‑3 shifts

Requirements

• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of LTC experience, with at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Current RN license (to be submitted)
• Reside within a 50‑mile radius of the facility
• Not employed full‑time, part‑time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit (including CHI and Dignity)

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Days, 12‑hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM, starting 09/21/2026 and ending 12/21/2026.
