Travel Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Lewiston, Maine. This role involves collaborating with residents and care team members to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care across multiple specialized units, including Alzheimer’s/dementia care, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term care. The position emphasizes understanding behavioral cues, effective communication, and providing supportive services in a home-like environment.
Schedule
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Cover 24-hour shifts and float to other units as needed
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Nursing
- Valid State of Maine or compact RN license
- 1–3 years of previous RN experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work across different units
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Up to 16 hours of orientation are unpaid. The organization reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts within a 13-week contract.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
