About the role
Long Term Care Nurse, LTC, on Nights shift for a facility providing skilled nursing and long-term care services. The RN will be responsible for supervising short-term rehab patients, administering medications, conducting rounds, and wound care as needed in a 17-bed skilled nursing unit and a 55-bed long-term care unit.
Responsibilities
- Providing patient care including medication administration
- Conducting patient rounds
- Wound care as needed
- Supervising certified nursing assistants
- Coordinating patient care plans
Requirements
- RN license
- CPR certification
- Skilled care and orthopedic experience
- At least 2 years of clinical experience
- Ability to work nights from 7PM to 7AM
- 36 hours per week
- Must have a permanent home address on file
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with short-term rehab patients
- Wound care experience
- Supervising nursing assistants
Schedule
- Nights shift
- 12-hour shifts
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Additional Information
- Floating to long-term care
- Scrub top requirement in royal blue
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
