Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care LTC| Day, Evening & Night Shifts
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility in Dubuque, IA. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, person-centered care, chronic disease management, and daily assessments for residents in a supportive facility environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and accurately document resident responses in the EHR
- Perform routine procedures, wound care, and dressing changes following established care plans
- Identify and report changes in resident condition to RNs, physicians, and family members
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and rehabilitation plans in coordination with CNAs and therapists
- Maintain strict safety protocols and uphold state and facility compliance standards
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Licensure: Active LPN license in the State of Iowa (or active Compact/NLC state license)
- Certifications: Active CPR / BLS certification
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
- Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts (Days, Evenings, and Nights)

- Strong communication with residents' families
- Multidisciplinary teamwork skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Hands-on experience with advanced wound care or palliative care principles
