Travel Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job
Responsibilities
- Provide general nursing care and related services to assigned patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Doctor (MD)
- Perform procedures requiring specialized training within the scope of practical nursing
- Maintain asepsis and apply sterile techniques for treatments, dressings, and related care
- Participate in planning and delivery of patient care plans
- Provide functional direction to ancillary personnel as assigned
- Adhere to established policies and demonstrate professional judgment in a fast-paced care setting
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Able to perform 12-hour day shifts and work 36 hours per week
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and work in a clinical care setting
- Clear communication and teamwork skills necessary for supervision and collaboration with RN/MD staff
