Travel Level III NICU Respiratory Therapist - $2,002 per week
About the role
Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis, pulse oximetry, and peak flow monitoring.
- Administer treatments including nebulizer therapy, oxygen therapy, and aerosol medications.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Illinois.
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- At least 2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including electronic health records (EHR).
Skills
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills.
Benefits
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
