Travel Level III NICU Respiratory Therapist - $1,998 per week

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience for a Level III NICU night shift position at a busy hospital in Hoffman Estates, IL.

Responsibilities

• Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs
• Hours: 36 hrs/wk
• Start Date: Aug 2, 2026
• Length: 13 weeks
• Assignment Overview: Shifts include every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• Provides respiratory therapy services to critically ill neonatal patients in a Level III NICU.
• Serves as a resource for the Labor and Delivery unit.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• NRP certification required (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics)
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• PALS certification required (AHA)
• ACLS certification required (AHA)
• Active RT/RRT license required if applicable
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Full SS# and full DOB required for consideration

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
