Interact directly with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging studies and high-quality patient care. Job Responsibilities: --30% Patient Care, Preparation, and Education: -Greet and assist patients, explaining the CT scanning procedure and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. -Verify patient identity, medical history, and physician orders to ensure appropriate imaging protocols are followed. -Position patients comfortably on the CT scanner table, immobilizing body parts as necessary to obtain clear images and minimizing motion artifacts. -Provide education and instruction to patients regarding CT scanning procedures, preparation requirements, and safety precautions. --35% CT Scanning, Image Acquisition, Image Processing, and Analysis: -Operate CT scanner equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images of the body according to established protocols and physician instructions. -Adjust scanning parameters such as slice thickness, exposure settings, and contrast administration as needed to optimize image quality and diagnostic information. -Monitor patients during scanning procedures, observing for any adverse reactions or complications and taking appropriate action as necessary. -Review CT images for quality, ensuring proper positioning, contrast enhancement, and absence of artifacts that may affect diagnostic interpretation.(K)About LanceSoftEstablished in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
