B2B Staffing Services, Inc. is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist Level II for a 13-week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Operate advanced Computed Tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety while collaborating with radiologists and physicians to deliver accurate diagnostic data.
- Set up, calibrate, and run advanced CT scanning equipment to capture clear cross-sectional images.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, verify medical history, and answer questions to ease anxiety.
- Position patients accurately, apply radiation shields, and strictly follow ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) radiation safety guidelines.
- Mix, prepare, and safely administer oral or intravenous (IV) contrast materials under clinical supervision.
- Review completed scans to ensure clarity and optimal technical quality before sending them to the radiologist.
Requirements
- Skilled and compassionate CT Technologist.
- Experience operating advanced CT scanning equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Registered CT Technologist (R.T.) or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
