Travel Level I - MRI Technologist - $2,800 per week

About the role

Equiliem is seeking a travel MRI Technologist Level I for a 13‑week assignment in Rochester, New York. The position is full‑time (40 hours per week) with evening shifts (8 hours) and is classified as a travel allied health professional role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test
• Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
• Perform patient care tasks as needed

Requirements

• Associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology
• ARRT certification (preferred)
• Minimum two (2) years of experience as an MRI technologist
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Client scanner experience (required)
• Level 1 trauma center experience
• Injection certification (required)
• New York State Radiologic Technology license (must be willing to obtain after start)
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to stand for extended periods
