- Rotating shifts required for day shift; evenings and nights do not rotate
Schedule Information
- 36 hours per week
- Night shifts and every other weekend (EOW) required
- Shift hours: 19:00 - 07:30 (7 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Day rotate shifts are 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a with 1 night of call (for day shift only)
- Evening and night shifts do not rotate
Unit Specific Information
- Unit is Level 2B - Special Care Nursery with 25 beds including L&D, PP, NBN, 2 OR’s, 2 ANU rooms, and RR
- Clinician to patient ratios vary by area: L&D 1:2-3 evaluations, 1:1 active labor, magnesium gtt or epidural; PP 1:3-4
- Patient population includes mothers, babies, and labor
- Floating is not required
Additional Details
- Primary source verification of professional license and/or certification required within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration
- MA Conditional Licenses not accepted
- N95 fit test required within 365 days of start date and updated annually; no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity required
- TB skin test screening within 3 months of start date and updated if break >6 months
- Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date and updated if break >6 months
- Criminal background check and Massachusetts CORI required within 45 days prior to start date and updated if break >6 months
- Various professional and personal health history attestations and checks required as part of onboarding
