About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Albany, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery care under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Assist with the delivery of babies and monitor the health of both mother and baby.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a physician.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Oregon.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience in labor and delivery preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
