Travel Labor & Delivery RN - $3,131 per week

About the role

Join AMN Healthcare as a Travel Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery in Kirkark, Washington. You will provide exceptional care to expectant mothers in a vibrant community with advanced pregnancy and birth services. The assignment is a 13‑week travel position with 36 hours per week, working 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, compassionate nursing care to laboring patients.
• Perform circulating duties during deliveries.
• Float to the postpartum unit as needed.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe deliveries.
• Maintain strong communication with patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process.

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact accepted).
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
• Experience with high‑volume deliveries (approximately 2,500 deliveries per year).
• Certification in BLS‑AHA, NRP‑AHA, and CERT‑FHM.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong communication and patient‑care skills.
• Willingness to float to postpartum as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Intermediate or advanced fetal heart monitoring (FHM) skills.
