About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Wichita, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a high-risk labor and delivery setting.
- Perform procedures such as C-sections and inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM and Doppler.
- Manage patient ratios of 1:1 for high-risk labor and c-sections, 1:2 for antepartum, PPROM, PTL on mag, PP on mag, and 1:3 for PP mag no baby, Outpatients.
- Utilize advanced equipment including Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and CPN(GE) monitor.
- Work in an EMR system (Meditech / CPN).
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital L&D RN experience.
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM-C or AWHONN certifications required.
Qualifications
- Circulating C-sections and high-risk LDR experience preferred.
