About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Elko, Nevada.
Responsibilities
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during labor and delivery.
- Monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth.
- Assist with the delivery of the baby and provide immediate postpartum care.
- Educate and support mothers and their families after giving birth.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications
- AWHONN Certification
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery (L&D) setting
Qualifications
- Accredited nursing program graduate
- Experience in acute care labor and delivery settings
- Knowledge of postpartum care and newborn care
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Pay
- Based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
- Tax-free stipend amount to be determined
