About the Role

Travel Labor and Delivery RN job at Medical City Arlington in Arlington, Texas. This is a 6-week rapid response contract, 48 hours per week, night shifts. The hospital is a 496-bed Level II Trauma Center and teaching facility offering advanced care for mothers and newborns. Arlington is located between Dallas and Fort Worth, with Dallas just a 25-minute drive away.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care
• Maternal and newborn care

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas or compact RN license
• At least 2 years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience
• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, LD
• 1 assignment in General, AMN Travel experience
• Traveler must start within 7 days of receiving offer
• AMN travel experience within the last 12 months REQUIRED
• Work history should not have more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (copy needed)
• ACLS certification (copy needed)
• NRP-AHA AAP - NRP Advanced certification (copy needed)
• CERT-FHM (copy needed)
• Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN required
• SSN Required
• DOB Required
• No time off requests

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Strong skills in maternal and newborn care

Pay

• Pay Rate: $2747.00 - $2888.00
• Based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined

• 12 hours, nights
• 36 hours per week
