Travel Labor & Delivery RN - $2,755 per week

About the Role

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions CHS is seeking a travel nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This is a 13-week assignment with a focus on providing care in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to antepartum triage, active labor, postpartum (mother and baby), and special care nursery babies.
• Work in the LDRP unit, which includes 1 triage, 3 labor, and 4 postpartum beds.
• Maintain patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4.
• Floating to other areas as required.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
• Proficiency with EMR systems: MedHost (inpatient), GE Centricity (OB), and Athena (Clinic).
• Proof of residence greater than 50 miles from the facility.
• Must not have worked as permanent staff for CHS within the last 12 months.

Schedule

Days, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week, with no call required.
