About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assist physicians during deliveries and monitor fetal heart tones.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient progress and vital signs accurately.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Wisconsin.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in labor and delivery preferred.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
