MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Missoula, Montana.

Responsibilities

• Educates and assists new mothers with physical and emotional needs during the post partum period.
• Cares for both moms and their newborns after delivery.
• Makes sure mothers recover properly following delivery.
• Recognizes and addresses postpartum depression in new mothers.
• Teaches new parents how to care for, bathe, breastfeed, or bottle-feed the newborn and monitor the infant's health.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Accredited nursing program degree
• BLS, ACLS & NRP Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting
