Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery nursing care in a 853-bed hospital serving as the region's only Level I trauma center with a Level III NICU
- Work in a Magnet-recognized teaching hospital providing advanced maternity and women's health services
- Utilize Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Demonstrate strong perinatal care skills
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a compact state
- At least 2 years of recent labor and delivery experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS certification
- NRP-AHA AAP - NRP Advanced certification
- CERT-FHM certification
- Travel experience: 1 assignment in General
- AMN travel experience within the last 12 months REQUIRED
- Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN High Risk experience
- No more than 90 days of gap in work history in the last year
- Must start within 7 days of receiving offer
- No time off requests
