About the role
A Hospital in UT is looking for an experienced OB nurse for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience, hold an active BLS, NRP and Fetal Monitoring and UT license.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in Labor and Delivery
- Assist with deliveries, monitor fetal heart tones, and manage postpartum care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality of care
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in UT
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in Obstetric Nursing (OB)
- Fetal Monitoring and UT license
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of obstetric emergencies and management
