Travel Labor & Delivery RN - $2,592 per week
About the role
Seeking a level IV trained Labor & Delivery nurse for a 12-week assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit
- Administer magnesium, insulin drips, and other medications as necessary
- Perform advanced neonatal resuscitation (NRP)
- Use advanced external fetal monitoring equipment
- Work in a 15-bed Labor & Delivery unit, 20-bed High Risk Unit, and 8-bed OB Triage unit
Requirements
- Familiarity with Magnesium, insulin drips, and Advanced NRP
- Advanced External Fetal Monitoring certification
- Experience with labor and delivery procedures
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Indiana
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN license in good standing
- At least 1 year of labor and delivery experience
- Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with medical equipment and technology
Benefits
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
