About the Role
Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our team on a travel basis in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery stages.
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal conditions throughout the labor and delivery process.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to support the well-being and comfort of expectant mothers and newborns.
- Implement evidence-based practices and protocols to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery with Level 1 experience.
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN.
- Active RN license in Michigan at the time of application.
- Must be available for 12-hour night shifts, with a commitment of 36 hours per week.
- Availability to work every other weekend is required.
- No special schedule requests or concurrent employment will be accepted.
