About the role

Travel RN-LD position in Garden City, Kansas, supporting mothers and newborns through labor and delivery in a hospital with a collaborative team and advanced obstetric care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary obstetric team.
• Utilize advanced obstetric care and fetal monitoring.
• Document patient information using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Apply problem‑solving skills to address clinical situations.

Requirements

• Active Kansas RN license (compact accepted).
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• One to two years of recent labor and delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – recommended.
• Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC‑OB) certification – recommended.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification – copy required.

Skills

Pay

Pay rate: $2,389.00 – $2,512.00 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week).

Schedule

• Shift: 12‑hour nights.
