Travel Labor & Delivery RN - $2,381 per week

About the role

We are seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Reno, Nevada. This position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (days and nights), and flexible scheduling within the maternal module including postpartum and NICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for high-risk obstetric patients
• Monitor and manage labor and delivery processes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Perform routine and emergency procedures as needed
• Adhere to hospital policies and protocols

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Nevada
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in labor and delivery preferred

Pay

The estimated pay package is based on the bill rate at the time the job was posted. Exact pay package may vary based on factors such as guaranteed hours, distance traveled, and customizations available for travelers.

Schedule

12-hour shifts - days and nights
Schedule includes floating within the maternal module to both postpartum and NICU
Required call is one shift per schedule period

Unit Description

We specialize in high-risk OB and have 15 labor beds with a 6-bed OBED. The unit also has 9 antepartum beds and 3 OR suites. We work with Stork (within Epic) and Periwatch for fetal monitoring.
