Travel Labor & Delivery RN - $2,379 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Pella, Iowa, starting September 14, 2026.

About the role

This position is for a travel nurse assignment lasting 13 weeks, with a start date of September 14, 2026. The role requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an acute care Labor and Delivery setting.
• Demonstrate technical and critical thinking skills in relation to sound nursing judgment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Utilize basic computer knowledge for documentation and communication.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.
• Current Registration and Licensure in the State of Iowa as an RN. Must be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS certification (new employees certify within three months after hire date).
• Current ACLS certification (new employees should obtain per guidelines of the Education Course Requirements policy).
• Nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• High degree of empathetic listening skills, tact, and kindness toward others.
• Strong verbal communication skills.

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ from the amount shown and may be subject to change during an assignment.
