Travel Labor & Delivery RN - $2,372 per week

About the role

Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (LD RN) for a 15‑week assignment in Auburn, Washington. The position starts on 10 May 2026, works 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts, and is a travel employment type. Auburn is a picturesque city in King County with extensive parks, trails, rivers for outdoor recreation, and a vibrant arts and cultural scene.

Responsibilities

• Perform cervical exams, manage ante‑partum and labor care, including amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IV therapy, and Pitocin administration.
• Provide comprehensive post‑partum care for mother and newborn, from transition to discharge.
• Circulate cesarean sections (required) and assist with scrub duties as needed.
• Catch and receive newborns, assess APGAR scores, and support breastfeeding education.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient care coordination.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including an on‑call NP and a multilingual patient population.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years total Labor & Delivery experience, including at least 1 year in LDRP.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications and competency in fetal monitoring.
• Ability to work every other weekend; no on‑call duties.
• Provide one professional reference covering the past five years and a skills checklist within the last 12 months.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license, qualified to practice in Labor & Delivery.
• Valid SSN and date of birth required for credentialing.

Skills

• Cervical examinations, ante‑partum and labor management.
• Amnio infusions, epidural assistance, fetal monitoring, IV insertion, Pitocin administration.
• Cesarean section circulation and scrub experience (preferred).
• Newborn catching/receiving, APGAR assessment, breastfeeding support.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR.
• Comfort working with Russian and Spanish speaking patients (preferred).
