About the role

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Dickson, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
  • Assess and manage labor and recovery of mothers, and transition newborns.
  • Handle shoulder dystocia, PP hemorrhage, and other potential OB emergencies.
  • Perform fetal monitoring and induction procedures (Pitocin, cervidil).

Requirements

  • Labor and delivery experience.
  • Ability to labor and recover the mother and receive and transition the newborn.
  • Experience with shoulder dystocia, PP hemorrhage, and other OB emergencies.
  • Advanced skills in fetal monitoring and induction procedures.

Qualifications

Must have labor and delivery experience including the ability to labor and recover the mother as well as receive and transition the newborn including assessment. Experience with shoulder dystocia, PP hemorrhage, and other potential OB emergencies preferred.

Skills

  • Fetal monitoring education.
  • Experience with inductions (Pitocin, cervidil).
