Travel Labor & Delivery RN - $2,265 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia. Specialty: Labor and Delivery; Discipline: RN; Start date: ASAP; Duration: 13 weeks; 36 hours per week; Shift: 12 hours, nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). The Labor and Delivery RN will provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns in a supportive and family-centered environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in labor, delivery, recovery, and triage, with a focus on patient preferences and emergency response protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assume primary responsibility for laboring and delivering patients.
• Provide nursing care during antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Assist with C-sections and post-operative care.
• Offer breastfeeding support and initial care for newborns.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and other vital signs using provided equipment.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring experience within the last 2 years.
• Labor and Delivery experience required.
• Current NRP and BLS certifications.
• Preferred experience at facilities with 3,000+ births per year.
