About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients during labor and delivery
• Assist physicians during childbirth
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as necessary
• Document patient progress and treatments
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New Mexico
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in labor and delivery preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers.
