Job Details
- Shift: 12H Days
- Total Weekly Hours: 36
Required Experience
- Must have charge experience
- Must have labor and delivery experience, including the ability to labor and recover the mother as well as receive and transition the newborn including assessment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and other potential OB emergencies preferred.
Advanced Skills Needed
- Fetal monitoring education
- Experience with inductions (Pitocin, cervidil)
Certifications Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Fetal Monitoring training
Unit Information
- The unit has seasoned, experienced RNs with approximately 30 years of experience each, serving as great resources and preceptors.
- Several other nurses have been in the 7-10 year range, also very experienced and competent.
