Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit
- Assess and manage high-risk pregnancies and deliveries
- Perform fetal monitoring and manage potential obstetric emergencies
- Labor and recover the mother as well as receive and transition the newborn
- Manage shoulder dystocia, PP hemorrhage, and other potential OB emergencies
- Lead and coordinate care teams as a Charge RN
Requirements
- At least 2 years of labor and delivery experience
- Ability to labor and recover the mother as well as receive and transition the newborn
- Experience with shoulder dystocia, PP hemorrhage, and other potential OB emergencies
- Charge RN experience
- BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications
