Travel Labor & Delivery RN - $2,068 per week

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maternal care and a commitment to ensuring optimal outcomes for mothers and their newborns.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Conduct cervical exams, place IUPCs and FSEs, and support vaginal deliveries.
• Administer IV starts and perform lab draws as needed.
• Circulate in cesarean sections and recover patients post-cesarean.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, with at least one travel contract completed.
• Current certifications in NRP, ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Tennessee.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 19:00-07:00 (3 shifts/week required, with potential holiday shifts).
