About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maternal care and a commitment to ensuring optimal outcomes for mothers and their newborns.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Conduct cervical exams, place IUPCs and FSEs, and support vaginal deliveries.
- Administer IV starts and perform lab draws as needed.
- Circulate in cesarean sections and recover patients post-cesarean.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, with at least one travel contract completed.
- Current certifications in NRP, ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Tennessee.
Qualifications
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shift: 19:00-07:00 (3 shifts/week required, with potential holiday shifts).
