Travel Labor & Delivery RN - $2,000 per week

About the role

Travel Nurse RN Labor & Delivery assignment at Jefferson Abington Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania. The facility is a 665‑bed Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital with a Level 3 neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) that delivers approximately 5,000 babies per year (about 416 per month). Located just 30 minutes from Philadelphia, offering access to attractions such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art. You will work alongside medical students and residents, supporting high‑risk pregnancies and caring for mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care
• Assist with deliveries
• Monitor mothers and infants
• Document care in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Requirements

• Current Pennsylvania or Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• One prior travel nursing assignment in general RN (Compact accepted)
• Availability to work every 3rd weekend
• One professional reference from entire work history
• BSN preferred (high‑risk experience preferred)

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include experience with the Epic electronic health record system.
