Travel Labor & Delivery RN - $1,966 per week

About the role

American Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Sterling, Virginia. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience, along with relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert labor and delivery nursing care for obstetric patients
• Collaborate with the team to ensure safe vaginal deliveries and C-sections, while utilizing fetal monitoring systems
• Support patients through inductions and OB triage processes
• Apply appropriate obstetric procedures

Requirements

• Valid RN license in Virginia or willingness to obtain
• ALS, BLS, NRP, fetal monitoring, and C-EFM certifications
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must be able to obtain Virginia state licensure and be willing to work 36 hours per week (7:00PM-7:00AM, rotating shifts).
