Travel Labor & Delivery RN - $1,841 per week

About the role

This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The role requires accountability for the quality of nursing services delivered either by oneself or by others under their direction. Specialized nursing knowledge, judgment, and skills are required to effectively assess data and deliver appropriate care tailored to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and documenting patient needs and responses to care.
• Creating patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families.
• Ensuring compliance with best practices and organizational policies.
• Supervising and guiding nursing staff under your direction.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent high-volume Labor and Delivery experience.
• Willingness to obtain Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Certification within 48 hours if offered.
• Willingness to obtain NIH Stroke Scale/Score (NIHSS) Certification within 48 hours if offered.
• Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimate of $150,000 annual salary.
• COVID-19 vaccination required; declinations not accepted.
• Active RN license, verified within the last 30 days.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.
• Active Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification.
• Active NIH Stroke Scale/Score (NIHSS) certification.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
