About the role
Hospital in Richmond, Virginia is in need of Labor and Delivery RNs for a 13-week travel contract. The position requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, night shifts, and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Candidates must have a current state license, BLS, NRP, and intermediate AWHONN certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and competent care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assist physicians during childbirth and manage postpartum care.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Requirements
- Current state license.
- BLS, NRP, and intermediate AWHONN certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and delivery.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience in labor and delivery preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
