Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 8-week assignment in Opelousas, Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery care under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Assist with the management of laboring patients and monitor fetal heart tones.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as ordered by a physician.
• Assist with the delivery of newborns and provide postpartum care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Current licensure as an RN in the state of Louisiana.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in labor and delivery preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols.
