Travel Labor & Delivery RN - $1,629 per week

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Hermitage, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Assist physicians during childbirth and monitor mother and baby’s health.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience in labor and delivery preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Knowledge of obstetric care and newborn care.
• Proficiency in computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
