This role involves providing comprehensive perinatal care, including prenatal evaluation, intrapartum support during labor and birth, intraoperative and postpartum care, as well as neonatal care for well babies and high-risk newborns. The assignment duration is approximately 15 weeks, with the potential for ongoing coverage. Job Details: Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, with every other weekend rotation from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Schedule: 12 hours per day, minimum 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 3-5+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery; comfortability working in the operating room; proficient in EPIC electronic health record system; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA); certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); ability to work during biweekly orientation; must be fully vaccinated against influenza during onboarding (declinations not accepted); must have been separated from the organization (local or non-local) for at least 6 months to be considered; valid credentials and compliance with hospital policies. Additional Information: The role involves prenatal evaluation of mother and fetus, intrapartum labor support, intraoperative deliveries, postpartum care, and neonatal care including special care for premature and high-risk newborns. Biweekly orientation is required. Locals are accepted for this position.
