Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,855 per week

Job Summary

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in Norwalk, CT. This role involves scheduled inductions, repeat cesarean sections, non-stress tests, triage, infant care, and providing 1:1 RN care for epidural placements and Magnesium Sulfate administration. There may be opportunities to float to maternity as needed.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM) certification through the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) within one year of start
• 2+ years of experience (preferred candidates with Core Fetal Monitoring certification are strongly preferred, NICU experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• C-EFM certification
• NICU experience

Additional Information

Candidate will be responsible for scheduled inductions, repeat cesarean sections, non-stress testing, triage, infant care, and 1:1 RN care during epidural placements and Magnesium Sulfate administration. There may be float responsibilities to maternity services.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
