About the role
The healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for a facility located in Lebanon, New Hampshire. This position involves working in a high-volume birthing pavilion with approximately 1,300 deliveries annually. The role offers a rotating shift schedule with a focus on providing quality maternal care in accordance with professional staffing guidelines.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
- Rotating shifts
Responsibilities
- Provide quality maternal care in a high-volume birthing pavilion
- Adhere to American Women's Hospital Nurses Organization (AWHONN) staffing guidelines, including nurse-to-patient ratios for various obstetric scenarios such as active labor, cervical ripening, high-risk medication administration, and postpartum care
- Participate in float rotation as required
Requirements
- Valid registered nurse license
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- At least 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
- Willingness to work rotating shifts
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Related obstetric nursing specialties
