About the role
This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Enid, Oklahoma. The role involves providing specialized care for females of childbearing years, including pregnant patients, laboring women, and patients undergoing scheduled procedures such as cesarean sections and external cephalic versions. Candidates are required to bring their license to practice on the first day. The position requires candidates to work night shifts on a 12-hour schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for females of childbearing years, including pregnant patients, laboring women, and patients undergoing scheduled procedures such as cesarean sections and external cephalic versions.
- Admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative care, and deliveries (both vaginal and cesarean).
- Documentation primarily involves Cerner and Fetalink systems.
- Manage various clinical procedures and patient transitions.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma.
- BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certifications.
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Cerner electronic medical record experience.
- Experience with Fetalink documentation.
- Experience with intermediate electronic fetal monitoring (preferred).
- Familiarity with common equipment such as fetal monitors (preferred).
Qualifications

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
